I wanted to answer your most recent and frequent questions, share some details about the blog and about what is to come in 2025.
But first of all, I hope that this year will bring you great health, great projects, amazing company and that you will enjoy each moment of it!

2024 has been a very interesting year, personally and professionally. Following some health issues, I had to take some time to take care of myself. I had some trips planned that I had to postpone, and some personal projects that took more time than planned, but I am happy that this allowed me to get better and I am looking forward to a healthier, happier 2025.

Thank you for your patience, your kind messages and your questions, I do my best to answer them all but I am aware there are some that I missed. Because they are so excellent and relevant, I thought I will answer the most frequent ones here.

About discontinuing brushes and restocks

When you ask me about a particular brush restock, sometimes I can answer when it’s coming back, sometimes I cannot. Here is why: Materials, components, and processes change, sometimes one small change can have a huge impact on a collection, a good or a not so good one. I think we need to embrace change and find a way to make those changes improve what we can create and the way we work. So there will be some changes in 2025, but hopefully for the better!

This involves that we need to discontinue some brushes, but some new designs will be introduced. The idea is to end up with a more cohesive collection, where you can more easily find what you need. The changes are quite significant and we sincerely hope that you will love what is to come!

To answer your questions with regards to which brushes will be discontinued, I will publish a list in the near future so that you know exactly what is happening. We are waiting for the very last details. If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to leave me a comment below!

Once all the details are confirmed, Beautylish will update the “returning soon” or “sold out” flags on their website.

If there are any brushes that you miss or that you wish to see back one day, please do not hesitate to share! we will be so happy take all your comments into consideration!

Restock of the Companions (nylon pouches)

Many of you are waiting for the Vertical Pouch, or for the Double Decker. We hope we can bring them back in stock, it is planned but not confirmed yet.
The Soft Brush Book will be back in March, and the Mini Soft Brush Book is still in stock (although not much stock left).
Thank you so much for your reviews, they help us a lot! I saw some comments saying that the prices were too high. We chose to make these pouches in Japan, not only the manufacturing is in Japan, but the nylon is also made in Japan, and the custom lining of the pouches too, this is rare and it’s something that we would like to preserve.

Many of you contacted me to ask if it was coming back but unfortunately, it is not planned.

The Sunset Cranes Holiday set

I understood that many would love for these Sunset Cranes brushes to come back. That set will not restock as it was launched initially, but maybe something will come in the future that could be interesting if you missed those brushes.

New releases in 2025

There will be a few launches this year, of very exciting brushes. We actually received many messages saying that you loved individual brush launches (like we did with the Mini Sheer Buffer for example) focussing on that one brush, so we will keep this in mind for the future.

Sweet Make-up Temptations blog

The storage related posts – I was working on this topic last year but we had to pause it, some drawers and storage displays needed to be replaced and it took a while to find replacements. I was so much looking forward to talking about these new fun storage solutions, what works the best and what we can recommend. Finally, we are now back on it, and we cannot wait to share all the details!

Writing on this blog is my favorite thing, so we have planned many topics and posts for this year! Interviews, reviews, and so much more.
