Restocks almost here!

I hope you are all doing fine, that you are healthy and staying safe! We are going through tough times right now and we need all the love and joy we can get to help us stay sane and happy!

Today, I can finally share a restock update, maybe you already saw it on Beautylish’s Instagram: most of the missing brushes will arrive this Friday, it was about time, I know, probably not the best time but I hope this will spark some joy somehow.

Thank you so much for your interest, I cannot believe how amazing the feedback has been and this allowed me to reorder a big restock! It will be available on Beautylish this Friday (tomorrow), so this is what is coming:

The restock coming this Friday is truly good but I still would like to mention that these are handmade items, so we face limitations in terms of quantities we can produce and the logistics around it. We cannot manufacture more at a time, I wish it was possible but it isn’t. Otherwise we will have issues with regards to quality and costs. Also, I would like to say again that they are not Limited Edition, so as long as it is possible, I will do my very best to bring them back in stock.

The other brushes that aren’t in stock at the moment, for example Face One and Sculpt Two, do not have a restock date yet.

Also, no restock update on the Walnut brush holder, it will be manufactured when conditions permit.

I have received many questions asking if this situation is affecting the manufactures. Of course it is. Each manufacture to a certain extent.

I have some new projects on the way (with different Companies in Japan) and with each company or manufacture it is slightly different. Some can still work from home, others have to stay home to take care of their children, therefore part of the production, or just some processes are on stand by, it really depends. During this past month I could still work with many of them, which kept our minds busy and happy. Since this situation is not yet over, I don’t know how much the projects will be delayed but we did work almost as usual, so far.

With regards to Switzerland, we have to respect some strict rules and so far so good, we can still go out for a run or for grocery shopping under precise conditions. I don’t know how this long weekend will affect the respect of those rules but hopefully it will be ok.

The lockdown here is extended until April 26th, only shops with main necessities are open. I stay home with my husband and our 3 year old daughter. Our daughter is struggling with isolation, she cries sometimes just because she misses her grandma or her cousin or the creche, it breaks our hearts but we consider ourselves really lucky since we are able to go outside either to sit or play or even enjoy a little walk in the nearby forest.

Actually, we have been very sick until now, we had to get tested and for both it was not this virus, although we were truly affected and it took us a long time to get better! I guess stress doesn’t help the recovery, we still aren’t fully fit but we look better 🙂

How are you doing? I hope you still manage to find some joy in your current day-to-day life. We are all looking forward to getting back to a normal life, that we will certainly enjoy even more than before!
