Thank you for being so patient and understanding with the restock of the current missing brushes! It is a very long wait indeed but we are almost ready!
I wanted to let you know what is coming and how, I can’t be super precise at this stage but the least I can do is to share with you what I know and what we should expect in the upcoming weeks/months.
I told the manufactures to split where possible so that we could at least have something coming. I am very excited that it’s finally time to restock and I hope this is good news!
Today is the 14th of February (Happy Valentine’s day!!!) š so the first brushes to restock (probably next week) will be the Sky Eye set. When Beautylish will be ready they will communicate and I will also repost on my Instagram.
The Sky Eye brushes will first be available as a set as we are receiving only a partial shipment, but in the near future (I imagine just a few weeks after at the time of the next delivery) they will also be released as individuals.
From the original collection, the ones on the picture below are the ones being delivered but not ready yet! My guess is probably sometime in March, I will confirm once I have a date.
Then, at about the same timing, we will have these Pro brushes back:
After all these shipments arrived, we should finally receive the Sky Face Set:
Depending on how many we receive, the Sky Face Set may first be available as a set and then individually at a later date (if all arrive together we will release them individually at the same time). My guess is that the Sky Face set will arrive in April or beginning of May, we are still speaking about 2020 š
I went to Japan in January to check on a few things, since this set is more challenging to create, I wanted to make sure that everything was going well and I had some batches created for quality and consistency checking before I went ahead and reorder more of the Sky Face Set.
The feedback on the Sky Face and Eye sets has been wonderful and I cannot believe the incredible mind-blowing welcome they have received, without such feedback, your support, patience and love I wouldn’t be here and I am very aware of that. I am so grateful and happy to be able to share my passion with you all, and hopefully, we will be able to start a new chapter in 2020.
I know that some wish I could order more batches at once but that is risky, not only with regards to finances but also to quality. When it comes to handmade brushes, they require time and focus, if we put pressure on the artisans I am certain that it has consequences. There aren’t that many skilled artisans around and they can’t just expand on demand.
In order to mitigate the limited quantities they can make by hand, these brushes are not Limited Edition in time so as long as there is interest, they will keep coming, even if it takes long, so as long as the manufactures can provide them to us, they will be back.
I mentioned recently that there are also new items coming in 2020, so the next new thing is an item that required a lot of time to complete. We are only receiving a very small delivery (very soon!) but just like the brushes, it’s not Limited Edition and if this new item is interesting to you, we will continue making it. Spoilers: it’s not a brush…

I was so hurt when the Sky face set came out and I missed them, I’m so glad I was ablle to purchase them recently I love your brushes so much I want doubles of every one of them…and I’m working on it. I finally have all of the pro sets and I’m still working on all of the individual brushes. I can’t wait for more.

Just a question I read someone else might have already asked, would you ever consider letting customers pre pay that way you would have the capital to purchase and would know how many you needed; and we would be guaranteed receiving these incredible brushes. I know I would happily pay in advance so I did not have to stalk the website lol.

hi sonia! i love your brushes and have bought a few. however, may i just provide some disappointing feedback? somehow, i realised that the brushes with white hair (sculpt three, face two) tend to shed consistently and in quite alarming amounts compared to those with dyed hair. the shedding for my sculpt three has gotten so bad and frustrating that I had to throw it away. when I am rushing in the morning, the last thing i wish to do is to check for hairs on my face :X
i’m not sure what is the issue as i do check back with beautylish reviews to see if others experienced the same shedding issues but not many mentioned it. just wanted to highlight my sadness to you. ;(
Hi Zeezee! All feedbacks are welcome and useful! Please do not worry, you can contact Beautylish and they will help you. It can happen unfortunatelly but it’s not related to the color of the bristles, something else could have impacted their stability. I read some occasional comments on shedding so I talked to the manufacture, they assured that all was ok but I still wanted to check in person and had them make several batches to test shedding on all brushes (white and brown), the outcome of the tests is absolutely no issues so all should be ok! I know that production takes time and I prefer not to rush them as this can indeed impact quality and that is not good …

You know… with my next 2 orders I will have most of your brushes and this is so crazy. An year ago I would never ever imagine purchasing such an expensive item, let alone whole bunch of them, but those brushes are such a treasure. I went through a rough patch in my life, being really sad and being so passionate and happy about something is so great!
I imagined last night a deep, forest green handles and even some new shapes for the brushes. Oh, I would be so happy if you can create something like that! Also a beautiful Japanese brush-roll, similar to a blue one I saw on your blog here, with the waves ā¤ļø

I am French and a fan of makeup. I discovered your Brand thanks to Michele Wang (@themichelewang) and Alicia Archer (@kinkysweat). I watched their videos over and over again, filled my basket over and over again on Beautylish without being able to finalize my order.
But, the restock of the Sky Eye Set decided me and I took the plunge. I took advantage of this order to add other brushes such as Smudger two, builder two & three and builder pro. But also 3 Wayne Goss brushes.
I received my order very quickly. 2 days ago, I made my 1st makeup with my new babies. A revelation !!! Why did I wait so long? Why did I spend so much money on other brands while feeling like I was saving? But now, I finally cracked and how to say … It really changes the game. I am not a pro but I like beautiful products. Addict to Natasha Denona’s eyeshadow makeup, I started, with my new brushes.
What softness, what precision, what ease to blend. My eyes are difficult to make up because they are very sunken. I always find it difficult to place the eyeshadow in the crease of the eyelid and in the outer corner of the eye. There, with your brushes and those of Wayne, it was magic. The eyeshadow was placed exactly where I wanted. Without forcing. With the desired intensity of the 1st shot. No stains either. The blending was done with disconcerting ease, blending into the skin. The transitions between eyeshadows: a marvel. In truth, my head is singing and Ican’t say enough.
At the same time, I shudder because I already know that I am lost, that I am addicted and that I would never stop having them all. Because not only are they effective, but in addition, they are real little gems that must be treated even more preciously than the others.
When I look at them, I think of those hardworking hands that shaped them. Slowly. Lovingly. Because in my head, it could not be otherwise. In truth, I love them and it makes me want to test those for the face.

First of all a big thank you for taking the time to answer me. After a short week of using my new babies, I confirm my first impressions. My makeup has never looked so good. I still have to appropriate their shape and the way of handling them which is different from my current brushes: Having a lighter hand, modifying the gesture and the technique, … But in truth, I like to take this time. Yesterday I rediscovered the ND Gold Palette and I think I have come to terms with it. Indeed, despite my love for this brand (I have almost all the palettes except maybe the Safari Palette), I found certain eyeshadows (and in particular blue), difficult to use and especially to blend. There, I got a result beyond all expectations. Thank you Mini booster, thank you Classic crease, thank you Sonia, thank you Wayne. I can not believe it. Goodbye demarcations, hello pretty gradient shades! My soul is in distress because, at the time of writing, my basket is ready to be validated … So, yes, without a doubt, I will test the face brushes and I look forward to the restock. I already have an idea of which ones I want to acquire, at first. I spent the weekend watching the demos and reading your blog. Besides, a big thank you for this one, which is a real gold mine of information. I love all the comparisons, the photos of the bruhes of the different brands which allow you to better visualize the differences and make a “good” decision. Thank you also for the Cleaning guide who made me realize that I was going to spoil my babies by washing them too often. Before reading you, I washed my brushes every day, gently of course, thinking it was the best way to care for them. When I read your post on this subject last Friday, my head was on fire. What? do not wash them every day otherwise we risk damaging them ??? Oh my god, but luckily I was guided by I don’t know which invisible hand towards your article … I smile. I love Natasha Denona shadows, some are a bit weird but I can make them work still. I just find the recent palettes to be too colourful for my taste, I wish she would launch a neutral cool palette, I would be the first in line to get it!! The good thing about this brushes is that they can make most eyeshadows work, so it makes me dig for my older palettes that I wasn’t using anymore, hence reducing the spending on new ones!!

I can’t help but come back to chat. I agree with you about Natasha’s latest creations. They are very lively and difficult to wear. Especially the last palette (The love one), where I do not find what I like about Natasha Denona. The shadows are not melting as usual. In the other palettes, even if the color is bright, there is always one that we can use to melt the other in the skin. In the Love palette, no. I’m upset. The roses are neon and the metallics do not have the quality of the Lila or the 28 panels pallets. Maybe your brushes will help me to love it more. But, yes, like you, I start dreaming of a palette a little more neutral or sweet, dewy, why not? That said, my new babies give me the opportunity to have fun with shadows that I had left out, for lack of good tools to use them. As Alicia or Michele say, your brushes are very intuitive: brushes guide you. Tomorrow, “my Sonia G’s familly” is getting bigger and I will certainly give you feedback on my new tools.

I allow myself again these few lines hoping with all my heart that you and yours are okay. During this period of difficult health crisis, make-up remains for me an essential that allows me to escape, to travel, to dream.
Last week I received my last order from Beautylish which contained The Face One and Face Two. In truth, I love them as much as your eye brushes which I believe have almost all models. The more I use them, the more I love them, the more I think I should have made these purchases before.
As for Face One and Face Two: they’re perfect. One to apply the powder and my complexion has never looked so velvety. The other one, for the blush. Here too, I rediscover some of my products that this brush allows me to collect and restore in the most beautiful way on my face.
I now look forward to restocking other face brushes.

Hi Sonia. I ordered your Sky Eye brush set during the restock and have been so in love. Because of how your brushes pick up and blend shadows, I am able to knock a few (but precious) minutes out of my morning routine. This is very important because I work 10hr days and start work at 5:00am, so if I can knock 5-10 minutes that means Iām able to have more time to myself. People at work have been complimenting me on my makeup lately too. I think itās because my blending job is much better so when I go to work Iām not surprised by muddy or poor blending. Thank you so much. I am eagerly waiting for your face brush sets to come back, so I can complete my Sonia G collection…until you introduce something new. š

Dear Sonia, your brushes are beautiful. However Iām here to commiserate and communicate with you, I think the Laura Mercier Repair Creme is either discontinued or hopefully it will re launch. I found the product through your blog years ago and I love it so much, I could kick myself for not buying some backups. In winter or after travel itās my favorite face cream and I want to thank you for recommending this product.
