Waterproof… blend like a dream… crease resistant… light-weight… buildable… gorgeous colors… These Laura Mercier creme eye colors are PERFECT.
You can find them in two formulas, “Metallic” and “Satinée”. I prefer the satinée formula for my eyelids since they suit me much better. If you set the metallic ones with a powder shadow it will either help minimize the metallic shine, or, enhance the intensity of the powder eyeshadow, but you don’t even need to set them if you don’t want to, on my eyelids, they don’t crease at all !
I bought some in the USA and some in Europe, you can see at the back that some are made in the USA and some in Italy.
LM Ecru Silk and Ellis Faas E109 are really very similar, formula and color, the E109 has just a little bit more pink in it. I use these two light shadows as an all-over color or base and they are my favorites ever ! They both have very tiny sparkle particles that make your look amazing, nothing over the top at all and completely suitable for the office.
I already had Cocoa Velour for a while but I fell in love with it again when I saw how Pixiwoo used it for the Eva Mendez tutorial in her video. Waw, what a beautiful look ! Since then I have recreated this look over and over again !
I could not find the Gold shade easily, everywhere I looked for it in London they were out of stock. I think I finally found it here in Switzerland, it’s the most stunning metallic base and the color is to die for.
I often wear Alloy when I want the “killing” look 🙂 and a very dramatic smokey eye. I love it !
However, I don’t often wear Rose Gold or Burnished Copper, they are difficult to wear for me, gorgeous colors but maybe a little bit too daring. If you have blue eyes I guess these shades would be lethal weapons 😀
Totally worth the price and the hype ! I just want more !!!
I am trying to get more shades but they are always out of stock, I hope they are not thinking of stopping the range !
Just try them, you’ll love them !
