Estée Lauder – Tease Illuminating Powder Gelee Blush
You know what it is, the new and already well known Gelee from Estée Lauder Spring 2013 collection, surprisingly it has already been released here.
Saw it, swatched it and loved it. So I bought it.
I love :
- The color : more unique than the previous Estée Lauder gelées, a glorious pink with a soft frosty/metallic iridescent (?) purple(ish) hint. I really can’t describe the color well so I thought I would swatch it together with other complex and maybe slightly similar shades I found in my collection, just to see if they could compare at all.
- The pigmentation : enough but not overly pigmented, you can easily control how much you apply. I like it sheer and precisely placed so that it looks sexy and flattering on the top of my cheekbones, this way it’s still wearable and suitable for a day at the office.
10 Long lasting plum, violet, purple or aubergine pencil eyeliners
Some years ago I was afraid of wearing anything else than brown or black eyeliner. Recently, after watching many Youtube tutorials on purple looks, I started playing with them until I finally managed to create fun looks still appropriate for my age.
I loved to wear a beautiful and colorful eyeliner but since I was wearing contact lenses, of course one eye always feels more or less comfortable than the other when you are wearing lenses… and that was causing my eyeliner to fade more on one eye than the other… after 4 hours I could already see that happening and it was upsetting, I have no time and I don’t want to have to reapply make up during the day.
I first started wearing the Clinique or Estee Lauder long lasting eyeliners, then I crossed borders and discovered Urban Decay and By Terry in London, today I am in love with the Chanels and the Addiction !
Would you like some cream in your Highlighter ?
When I started to use make up, I did not even know what a highlighter was, I discovered highlighters only 2 years ago but since then, I use them on a daily basis, either in a subtle way for a day at work or more dramatic for other evening events or parties.
I love both powder and cream highlighters but due to my very dry skin I tend to use the cream ones more often. They also make it more easy to travel with since they are not powder, they will not shatter and you can just keep them in your checked luggage.
I find cream highlighters more long lasting and that is also why I would pick a cream over a powder one.
Whatever your reason is, everyone should give them a try as they really deliver !
