Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth… my first impressions
I was at the YSL counter to check out their new “Vernis à Lèvres” and I noticed this new Forever Youth serum.
They insisted that I should try it, that it was “so” special and “so” innovative and they gave me a tiny sample. I have always been looking for great products for my skin but since my skin is so incredibly dry it has been very difficult to find the perfect combination.
Traveling safely with your make up
I love to travel ! I start packing a long time before my departure, it feels like holidays already ! I choose my make up and skincare carefully depending on the length of the stay, the purpose, the destination and the transportation. Nevertheless I always take too much and I always forget something !
Your needs will be clearly different if you go camping or if you are going to attend a seminar, a party or a wedding, if you travel in a sporty car with an engine all over the place, it is going to be steaming hot in the boot, you may consider taking your make up in your handbag with you… if you travel by plane, you will need to take only small liquids with you and consider not putting your make up palettes with the checked in luggage..
Would you like some cream in your Highlighter ?
When I started to use make up, I did not even know what a highlighter was, I discovered highlighters only 2 years ago but since then, I use them on a daily basis, either in a subtle way for a day at work or more dramatic for other evening events or parties.
I love both powder and cream highlighters but due to my very dry skin I tend to use the cream ones more often. They also make it more easy to travel with since they are not powder, they will not shatter and you can just keep them in your checked luggage.
I find cream highlighters more long lasting and that is also why I would pick a cream over a powder one.
Whatever your reason is, everyone should give them a try as they really deliver !
